ACU are a leading national university, with 6 campuses and over 30,000 students Australia wide. ACU needed support to redesign the way they engage students, in a consistent and contemporary way and delivered on a leading-edge CMS.


A brand new digital platform for student success

ACU appointed W3.Digital to develop and deliver a ‘platform for student success’. As well as delivering a brand new digital platform, W3.Digital also led a large internal culture shift to position the student as the customer and implement methodology that built solutions based on their needs.

A seamless and personalised experience

The outcome is a single platform that integrates ten existing systems through a single-sign on, personalised information delivery and a clear information architecture that works seamlessly across desktop, tablet and mobile.

I engaged W3.Digital to work directly with the newly formed digital strategy department and help us create an industry leading student website. From the outset they understood the complexities of our systems, the needs of our stakeholders and the goals of our customers, the students. They have created a long term strategic vision that highlighted the need for true digital innovation, not just site redevelopment.

W3’s concept for the platform for student success will integrate over 10 unique systems, surfacing all the information relevant to students and enable them to perform daily tasks quickly and easily on any device.

This approach will help staff perform their jobs more effectively, and create a great online student experience.
